DAN ROCHE
Daniel Roche formed Roche Capital, LLC in October 1999 where
he invests in and advises 'early stage' technology companies.
Mr. Roche currently serves as the Entrepreneur in Residence
at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Prior to Roche Capital, LLC, Mr. Roche was the President
and Chief Operating Officer of Condor Technology Solutions,
where he led the company's business strategy, operations and
acquisition program. Mr. Roche was key to the company's IPO
in February 1997. Prior to joining Condor, he was Executive
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at BSG, a client/server
and systems integration software development company, where
he was responsible for the strategy, direction and day-to-day
operations of a $120 million business base with 1200 employees
in 15 offices.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Roche was CEO, President and Founder
of Rapid Systems Solutions, Inc. Rapid Systems Solutions grew
from one to over 300 people on a $35 million revenue run rate
in under 5 years. In recognition of these accomplishments,
he was named "Small Business Person of the Year"
and "Entrepreneur of the Year" and presented with
an MCI "Industry Customer Service Award." Mr. Roche
sold Rapid Systems Solutions to Medaphis in 1996.
Mr. Roche completed the Owner President Management Program
at Harvard University's Graduate School of Business as well
as other Executive Education courses at Stanford University's
Graduate Business School and the Darden School of Business
(University of Virginia). He received a Master's of Science
degree summa cum laude in computer science from The John Hopkins
University and a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in computer
science from Central Michigan University.
