HANS ROTH
Hans Roth is an entrepreneurial executive with 10 years of
progressive experience building high-performance teams and
products within small and large biotech and software firms.
Mr. Roth conceived, funded and led development of cutting-edge
solutions, resulting in a sale of one company to Network Solutions
(now VeriSign - VRSN); he also advised a major telecom in
its national launch and marketing of a consumer ISP service.
Prior to these ventures, Mr. Roth led core growth initiatives
within a multi-national biotech firm. As an expatriate, he
established a direct marketing presence in Brazil; he and
his team registered, manufactured and launched 5 products
successfully, growing sales to nearly $50 million and operating
profit over 100% annually. Mr. Roth later became liaison to
his firm's US and Japanese parent companies in structuring
international product development strategies; efforts which
contributed significantly to an acquisition of the company
by AstraZeneca (AZN). Mr. Roth received a Bachelor of Science
in Business Finance at Montana State University; he furthered
his education at University of Michigan Business School in
Operations Management.
