HERB FRERICHS, JR.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Frerichs brings an impeccable resume combining experience and education. At the present time, he is a Partner in the Finance, Corporate & Securities Department at Piper Marbury Rudnick & Wolfe LLP, one of the nation's largest law firms. His primary area of expertise involves advising closely-held clients, especially in the area of mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Piper Marbury in 1995, Mr. Frerichs was the Associate General Counsel at UNC, Inc., where he gained experience in general corporate matters, as well as SEC compliance and reporting. He began his legal career with Miles & Stockbridge in 1988. Prior to law school, Mr. Frerichs served with distinction as an Officer in the United States Navy.

Mr. Frerichs graduated with Merit from the United States Naval Academy, holds a Masters Degree in Maritime Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a Juris Doctorate degree with Honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.
