MATT GODDARD

Matt Goddard is often characterized as a sales and marketing CEO, someone who specializes in launching companies and products in start up environments. His skills in marketing, sales, and operations have led to a number of success stories and he is often called upon by the local community to discuss state wide marketing strategies. Matt is currently working with a number of regional technology companies preparing them for product launches and expansion opportunities.

Prior to his current work Matt Goddard was President and co-founder of Impreza, which was founded in 1996 with a modest investment of $2,000. Impreza grew to a leading web development and software company and was later acquired by Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBGI).

Following the acquisition of Impreza, Matt led the launch of i1440, a homeland security product company that was developed in partnership with G1440 and Johns Hopkins through a technology transfer agreement. i1440 customers now include over 56 organizations in the United States including Harvard University, the Center for Disease Control, and the Department of Energy.

Matt sits on the board of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council and is a graduate of both Towson University and Johns Hopkins University.
