MEL SOULE

Mel Soule uses his 28 years of senior management experience to support the business development and growth needs of emerging technology companies.

Prior to starting Technology Development Partners, his Baltimore-based consulting company, Mr. Soule was President and CEO of Circe Biomedical, Inc. in Lexington, MA. A spin-off company he created for W.R. Grace. As CEO, Mr. Soule led a winning campaign to receive two IND approvals from FDA for the artificial liver and artificial pancreas in a record 6-months from filing. In addition he successfully negotiated two $10 million+ strategic licensing deals with Big Pharma and led the company capitalization effort to raise $48million in venture capital.

Mr. Soule earlier served as Director the Commercial Planning Department at W.R.Grace. He has extensive sales and marketing experience gained as Product Manager for Becton Dickinson, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Ash Medical Systems and General Manager for Terumo Consumer Products Division.
